YAMAHA TZ 700
Certificate n°D2202K
200 Miles of Daytona (Florida, USA), March 1974: Giacomo Agostini, the most decorated motorcycle racer in the world, had just joined the Japanese firm Yamaha after years racing on MV Agusta. He participated in this race for the first time on a brand-new motorcycle from Yamaha's racing workshops, the TZ 750 A (inline four-cylinder, two-stroke, 700cc). Agostini won this first race ahead of American rider Kenny Roberts, also on a Yamaha TZ 700. Agostini repeated his success with the same machine at the 200 Miglia di Imola in Italy later that year.
