This Honda 500 RS Grand Prix bike is truly unique; the 500 RS chassis features two lateral reinforcements, and it is powered by a factory 500 NS engine equipped with the ATAC system on all three cylinders. A few 500 RS models were sent to various importers for their national riders to race; this particular bike was upgraded mid-season with a factory engine. The 500 NS was a factory machine reserved for works riders; with ten world championship titles and over 100 victories, it stands as one of the greatest racing machines of all time.
